Hooray for MLK!

I cannot pay enough respect to our nation's civil rights leaders for the personal sacrifices that they made (and still continue to make) to ensure that our individual rights are protected by the United States Constitution. Without them consistently standing up for what they believe is right, I may not have had the freedom to write about this topic today!

If you would like more information about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, please go to the following website for an imaged timeline of Dr. King's life: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/mlk/king/photogallery.html

A belief is a conviction about something that is always true. Do you or your family have any strong beliefs? If so, what are they? Why are they so important to you or your family that no one can change them? Please respond in one paragraph by Friday.
